Conflict-free raw materials

Responsible sourcing

We are committed to ensuring that we do not purchase minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold) that fund armed organizations in conflict areas (Democratic Republic of Congo and neighboring countries). We prohibit the sourcing of minerals from this area because this policy may harm legal miners.

We take the action for the overall supply chain to ensure that our procurement does not fund armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries. As part of this plan, we continue to conduct appropriate origin investigations on the products we manufacture, and follow the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) issued by "Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas" (Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas) to perform supply chain due diligence.

We expect STARCONN Group’s product suppliers to follow the template established by the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative, formulate appropriate policies, and implement a system that can trace the source of tin、 tantalum、tungsten and gold supplied to the company. Any external business partner encounters challenges in meeting our expectations, and we will work hard to solve these challenges. If we cannot meet the relevant requirements, we will terminate the relationship with external business partners.
